About Chicken Pants

Chicken Pants Studio is a small, family run business started by Bronwyn and Marnie. Designs out of the studio start as watercolour and gouache paintings, with bold and bright colours our cup of tea!

Based in the Perth Hills, our inspiration comes directly from the jarrah forest and banksia woodland on our doorstep. Our work is designed to be fun, bright and connect people to what's in their backyard.

In late 2019 Bronwyn painted a few A4 black cockatoo feathers, which became our first range of stickers. What started small became stocked in over 20 stores across Western Australia and South Australia.

While stickers will always be our calling card, our range has expanded to include other gifts and paper products including enamel pins, keychains, notebooks and more. Over 90% of our products are Australian-made, with the rest made ethically and responsibly sourced overseas.

We also donate 10% of black cockatoo sticker sales to black cockatoo preservation. Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre is the only dedicated black cockatoo rehabilitation and release centre in Australia. It is our original source of inspiration for our art business, and we're proud to have supported them for the duration of our business.

As for the name? It comes from our love of birds - especially how their fluffy little legs look like pants. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! We hope you enjoy our work as much as we do.

Bronwyn and Marnie,
