About Chicken Pants
Chicken Pants Studio is an art and stationery brand on Wudjuk country, in the Perth Hills.
Founded in 2020 by Bronwyn (she/her) and Marnie (she/her), we focus on creating functional, practical artworks. We have a passion for black cockatoos and the wildflowers of the southwest Western Australia region - Noongar boodjar.
We strongly believe that art should be accessible for everyone, dismantling stereotypes of artwork exclusivity. Functional art is a way for people to personalise their lives and encourage conversations about threatened species.
Now we know what you're thinking, everybody asks us! Why Chicken Pants? Next time you see a bird have a look at the feathers on their legs, they look a lot like pants (magpies and wedge-tail eagles are great examples of this). We also endearingly call birds chickens and you should, too!
So with birds being our specialty, Chicken Pants Studio was born!

Chicken Pants Studio recognises the Wudjuk people of Noongar Boodjar, as the traditional custodians of the unceded lands we are so fortunate to live on.
We pay our respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout Australia; past, present and emerging.
