About Chicken Pants

Chicken Pants Studio is a small, family run business inspired by the wildlife and wildflowers of Australia. Each design starts as mixed media watercolour and gouache paintings, capturing the rich colours of the landscape.

Based in the Perth Hills, our inspiration comes directly from the mixed jarrah forest and banksia woodland on our doorstep. Our work is designed to be fun, bright and connect people to the land.

Our journey began in late 2019 when Bronwyn painted a small collection of black cockatoo feathers, which became our first range of stickers. We're proud to now be stocked in over 20 stores across Western Australia and South Australia, including wildlife rescue centres, gift shops and bookshops.

While stickers remain at the heart of what we do, our range has expanded to include other gifting and paper products including enamel pins, keychains, notebooks and more. Over 90% of our products are Australian-made, with the rest made ethically and responsibly sourced overseas.

We also donate 10% of black cockatoo sticker sales to black cockatoo preservation. Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre is the only dedicated black cockatoo rehabilitation and release centre in Australia. It is our original source of inspiration for our art and business, and we're proud to be able to support them.

As for the name? It comes from our love of birds - especially how their fluffy little legs look like pants. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it!

We hope you enjoy our work as much as we do.

Bronwyn and Marnie,
(+ Monty the poodle and Vincent the weiro, the best studio assistants!)
